Ever since I have been a member of various Acting/music schools such as StageCoach, ACT and the Stagecoach Agency. I have participated in many productions that vary in genre and complexity for example Oklahoma, Les Miserables, West Side Story, various short films, a TV commercial concerning the saving of hospitals around the UK and the list goes on. I have performed in many venues up to Her Royal Majesties Theatre in London on the West End. I have also participated in the worlds most ambitious writers festival which involved touring to different venues including Brighton, Haywards Heath and Chichester to perform a never seen before play called Bassett. Have briefly worked with Hollister in both Brighton and Manchester. The 16th May was my first day in a life which would absorb me for the next year. Walking up to the door of my new place of employment…yes, actual employment, there were a few things going through my head, perhaps clouding my vision of what an exciting opportunity this is. Corporate Jargon — Will I understand ANYTHING? How do I behave? What can I say? What can I NOT say? Has the previous 15 years of education prepared me enough for this very moment? The answer is Yes. I know what you're thinking, what? But…there i s no definitive answer as to what you'll experience on your first day. However, as cliché as it sounds, what's important is that you make the most of it and allow yourself to settle in in a way which you see yourself progressing in the future. I was once taught a saying in lower school, which I didn't take very much notice of as younglings do at that age, but it has become a profound and meaningful collection of words which are fundamental to the way I now live my life: "Start as you mean to go on".

'I got a standing ovation – and those cheers! It completely exceeded everything I thought would happen. 'I tried to pick a song that would not only appeal to me, but also appeal to the audience. I wanted to make it my own though and just decided on the spot to sing in Spanish. 'I'm quite fluent and I hadn't seen that on the show so I thought I'd give it a go. I always like to be surprised by what comes out of my mouth, as much as the audience are! '
